TERNALLOY 552 alloy is a variant of the TE 55 alloy designed specifically for certain types of application, which require a marked smoothness (capillarity) of the filler material due to the type of joint to be welded or the viscosities of the base metals. Highly appreciated in the production of taps and welding torches. The presence of silicon reduces the electrical conductivity and the characteristics of mechanical stress. With these alloys you can make all those brazing of details that will then come into contact with food or pharmaceutical products. They also ensure greater hygiene of the workplace because, being insensitive to overheating, they do not release volatile substances during brazing. If the design of the joint requires a long heating time then alternatively use flux F25.
