Paste
TERNALLOY 491 MN is a high silver alloy with low working temperature and high mechanical resistance. It’s an alloy used in the tungsten carbide and vidia tooling industry. Compared to the TERNALLOY 49 MN it has a greater smoothness and fluidity that makes it easier to use in brazing processes, where the design of the joint represents a criticality. Its melting temperature slightly lower than TERNALLOY 49 MN makes it very performing even when there are maximum temperature constraints dictated by the sintered material. If used in the induction welding of the tools, we recommend the use of deoxidizing paste F9. For all other applications the use of pasta is recommended.
