Ternalloy 38 is a silver alloy for low melting point brazing, cadmium free, with good sliding characteristics. It can be used to join ferrous and non-ferrous metals, dissimilar metals and alloys with tight joining margins, such as steel, copper, copper alloys, nickel, nickel alloys. When brazing in an oxidizing environment, a suitable deoxidizer should be used.
Typical applications are in the automotive, electrical, air conditioning and refrigeration industries. Suitable for parts in contact with sea water.
