The Silvalloy 105 is characterized by a single melting point at 960° C; it is widely used as a semiconductor in numerous electrical, electronic and industrial applications such as contacts, fuses, etc.etc. for its high thermal power and its electrical conductivity. However, it can also be used in brazing processes due to its excellent ductility and good resistance to oxidation and corrosive attack.
Silvalloy 105 is also used in the brazing processes of metallized ceramics in reducing, inert or vacuum atmospheres.
