TERNALLOY SPECIAL are brazing alloys for special applications or for use in particular conditions. These alloys have a high silver content and different composition compared to TERNALLOY T and TERNALLOY S alloys.
Zinc-free alloys are suitable for furnace brazing and can be used for brazing stainless steels. Copper-free alloys, on the other hand, are resistant to ammonia. Alloys containing indium are recommended for preventing corrosion phenomena when brazing stainless steels later exposed to moisture or water.
