The various filler metals include brass alloys with or without nickel and alloys with medium-low silver content in bars and rings. Welding is carried out using a torch, induction and oven. The choice of flux depends on the solder type; a long-acting flux is commonly used due to the high working temperatures and wide melting intervals.
