There is a wide choice of filler metal for use in constructing mechanical/electromechanical systems, resistors and contacts.
Copper-phosphorus and copper-phosphorus-silver alloys (bars, wires) are preferred for the assembly of bundles and windings, and alloys with medium-high silver content (bars, wires, laminates and strips) are best for brazing stators, rotors and cages. Eutectic alloys are used In the case of contacts and resistors, although tin-silver can also be used, mainly in wire. It is brazed with a torch or by induction. Paste flux only in the case of silver alloys.
