Alloy FOS 677 is an alloy of Copper Phosphor particularly suitable for brazing brass copper. It’s an alloy with good fluidity and penetration characteristics. The brazed joint is characterized by a homogenous color, much more similar to silver alloys than to copper and phosphorus alloys. Unlike other cup alloys, it must necessarily be used with the addition of a specific deoxidizer (fcu).
The FOS 677 is an alloy widely used in the production of industrial fittings for liquids and gases and in the production of taps for civil and industrial use, in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector.
Not suitable for applications in contact with sulfides. Not suitable for Fe and Ni alloys.
